High-Wall / Single-Split

Floor Console

A lower-mounted indoor unit for situations where a high-wall unit isn't suitable, or where you simply prefer heat delivered at floor level.

Heat pump vs electric heater

A standard electric heater creates heat directly from electricity. A heat pump works differently — it transfers heat from one place to another. Because of that, a properly selected heat pump can generally provide significantly more efficient room heating than a standard resistance heater, with the added benefit of cooling in summer.

Adding a heat pump to an existing home, or replacing an older system, takes more than picking a unit. We assess existing refrigerant pipework, drainage, electrical supply, outdoor unit location, wall construction, existing penetrations, indoor unit position, airflow and service access — then keep the finished installation clean and tidy.

New build

New-build heat pumps

For new homes we work with you or your builder before the internal walls and ceilings go up, planning indoor and outdoor unit positions, refrigerant pipework, drainage, HVAC electrical supply, isolators and future servicing access. Early planning makes for a much cleaner finished installation.

Our registered electrician completes the electrical work associated with the HVAC installation — dedicated circuits, isolators and associated switchboard work where required.

2. Ducted Heating & Cooling

Heating and cooling throughout the home without a wall unit in every room. A central indoor unit sits in the ceiling space, with conditioned air distributed through discreet ceiling or wall outlets. We design ducted systems for both retrofit installations and new-build projects.

A ducted system doesn't have to go in during construction. Where the property allows, we design and retrofit ducted heating and cooling into an existing home — assessing roof-space access, indoor unit location, duct routes, supply outlets, return-air position, zones, controller and sensor positions, outdoor unit position, condensate drainage, HVAC electrical supply and future service access.

The system is designed around your property, rather than forcing a standard layout into every home.

New build

New-build ducted systems

We work from the building plans before construction reaches final fit-off. Early HVAC planning coordinates duct routes, ceiling outlets, return-air grilles, zone dampers, controllers, room sensors, indoor unit location, access panels, outdoor unit position, condensate drainage and electrical requirements — for a more integrated, professional result.

3. Multi-Room Systems

Flexible Multi-Room Heating & Cooling

A practical option when several rooms need heating and cooling but a fully ducted system isn't suitable. Depending on the equipment, multiple indoor units run from one outdoor system — independent comfort in several rooms, with fewer outdoor units around the property.

Choosing between multi-room and ducted

We won't default to a multi-room system just because several rooms need heating. We look at the property and compare individual single-split systems, multi-room systems and ducted heating and cooling. The right answer depends on home layout, number of rooms, roof-space availability, outdoor-unit space, your comfort expectations, budget and control requirements.

Ducted zoning

A zoned system lets different parts of the home be controlled independently — rather than conditioning every room whenever the system runs. Motorised zone dampers control the airflow delivered to each area: living and dining, kitchen, bedrooms, master bedroom, upstairs, downstairs, home office or guest rooms.

Room temperature sensors

Selected zoning systems use individual room sensors, so the system receives temperature information from different areas rather than relying on one central controller. The level of individual room control available depends on the HVAC system and zoning platform selected.

Smart design, not just more zones

More zones doesn't automatically mean a better system. We design the zone layout around how your home is actually used — a day zone for living, dining and kitchen; night zones for bedrooms; a separate master zone; and occasional-use areas like a guest room or office. Good zoning makes the system easier to use while improving comfort.

Many commercial projects involve replacing or upgrading existing equipment.
